10 years ago I was taking my driving test out in SURREY! Life in my little surburbia of sunwood and sunshine hills was being invaded by yellows! It was the first time I felt like a majority… Mandarin versus Cantonese!
5 years ago I was midway through undergrad. It was a time of turmoil, confusion, heartaches and heartbreaks, tears, laughter, and the continued development of the original crew and then the splitting followed by the rebirth of the pack. I will always remember the chlorine filled days, the mid-day naps, the totem caf, the stalker scare, the stairs of wreck, the frantic seat searches in SUB with the mixed gang…highlights would be the pretzel, the pike guy, and the yellow SHRUG!
1 year ago I was seeing diamonds, 3 to be exact! One for each ear, and the third was one that you run around on in the field! It was really a year of change! Doors were closing… some gently and others closed with a slam… but always when one door closes, another opens... but sometimes it’s only a window. It was also a time for new beginnings. F8…accept what lies ahead and work with it! Things seem to fall in place the way it should! Moving forward. Small but exciting adventures… more to come!
